One of only 591 produced Produced from 1963 to 1969, the Maserati Sebring was a grand touring car on which, along with the Maserati Mistral, rested the mission of perpetuating the success of the GT cars of the 1950s from the same brand, with the unmissable 3500 GT and 5000 GT. The Mistral combined the young powertrain of the 3500 GT with a 2+2 (4-seater) interior that was completely redesigned compared to its big sister, the 3500 GT. The Sebring's bodywork was designed by Vignale, an Italian coachbuilder and designer. 2 series of the Sebring were produced: Series I and Series II. The main difference between them was that in Series II, the engine's cubic capacity was increased, and therefore, logically, its power. Our Sebring is a Series I with an in-line 6-cylinder engine developing 235 bhp (173 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (255 bhp/ 188 kW and 378 Nm for Series II). With rear-wheel drive and a 5-speed gearbox, this Sebring offers driving comfort while retaining the sporty character of its engine, in a collector's piece designed by one of the greatest coachbuilders of his time, Alfredo Vignale. Our Sebring guarantees Italian class and elegance with its slender lines and silver-grey finish. Its 'Rosanil' red leather interior offers a touch of glamour worthy of an Italian of that era. This collector's item is a must-have for any Maserati collector: rare, historic, with a sublime colour scheme and all in mint condition. We can therefore safely say that our Sebring is one of the most beautiful you will ever see. 1964 Maserati Sebring Series I coupé . January 1964 . Delivered new in Sweden . 75. 071 km .
