Registered Nov 5th, this is a genuine Super Rocket, albeit it now fitted with a DA10 engine (this being in the eartly 1970s, according to the VE60 registration document.
Work carried out in recent years:
Frame, swing arm and various brackets etc powder coated.
Rear wheel rebuilt with Central Wheel WM profile chrome rim.
New rear chain.
New swing arm bushes.
Bates style chrome headlight.
Front and rear tyres as new.
Rear brake converted to rod operation.
New tank badges.
New Dynamo Works combined rectifier/ regulator.
Converted to 12 volt with 60/ 55 w headlight bulb.
Single seat and higher bars fitted for comfort.
Very sweet engine (reputedly been rebuilt, but no invoices to support this).
V5C and original VE60 continuation registration document.
Historic taxation class registered.
Mileage unknown, so ignore the stated mileage, as this was required for the ad form.
Will require a certain degree of recommissioning before regular use.
Ideal basis for returning to Super Rocket spec, or just using as is.
Realistically priced, as thinning collection.
