Description
Y-reg Mini Cooper, built April 2001, chassis number 155, making this a very early car. One year's MoT. The 71000 miles are genuine and much lower than typical for a Y-reg Mini. It has a fairly comprehensive service history, much of it with Mini dealers.
During my ownership it has had the following done:
-ABS pump replaced
-partial brake pipe replacement
-new front ABS sensors
-new rear brake callipers, discs and pads
-cracked windscreen replaced with the correct Mini-branded glass
-new Continental front tyres
-new heater matrix
-4 new Mini drop-in mats
-pin dents removed from sides, some panels repainted to correct lacquer peel
It has a full MoT and is in generally very good condition for a 23 year old car, inside, outside and mechanically. However, a few more lacquer peel patches have appeared on the tailgate, the front scuttle panel and the offside rear wing.
-This is among the very earliest BMW Minis, chassis number 155 built during the week beginning April 26th 2001. I bought it five years ago as a collector's car, and have covered around 2500 miles in it. It features several of the items special to the very earliest cars, including "MINI" embossed pedal rubbers, the early seat recline handle design and the wide-spaced mesh scuttle air intakes.
The complete book pack is with the car, including the service record.
The car has appeared in an Autocar magazine feature, photographed inside the Oxford factory.
I'm selling it only because I have too many cars.
