Description
Unique Supercharged PA Special
Rebuilt and modified between 1958 and 1993 it has been driven in numerous trials competitions including the challenging South West MG club Kimber Trial and the French Le Kimber to great success. Modified by the previous owner, a Vickers Aircraft engineer, it incorporates various aircraft sourced gauges and switches. He also installed a Marshall 75 supercharged for to provide instant power at any revs.
This is no trailer queen, and the paintwork and interior show that it has been well used. The interior is worn but period presentable. There are blemishes and marks on all exterior panels although they are all straight and undamaged. The paintwork shows cracks and rough patches in places, so the new owner won’t need to worry about brushing against the scenery! Always driven to and from events it has proved to be extremely reliable and is in great mechanical condition and ready to go. Recently given a mechanical overhaul with lots of new parts fitted, it comes with a good history file, complete with lots of bills, MoTs, photographs, some from the 1930s.
The MG is now offered for sale as the Owner no longer competes and is about to move to a house with a smaller garage. A very entertaining car, it is ready for its next owner to enjoy.
Priced at £21, 500 or very close offer.
More photographs, video and information available on request. The MG can be viewed near Petworth, West Sussex by arrangement.
