Description
For sale is a stunning example of a Fiesta 1. 1 Classic Quartz in Radiant Red, which has been owned by the same family since new and lovingly cared for over the past 28 years. The odometer indicates only 45, 522 miles, averaging just 1, 600 miles per year. First registered in September 1996, this car has only had 2 family owners and remains in its original, unmodified condition.
The bodywork is in great condition for its age as can be seen in the photos. All paintwork and body panels are original. It has been garaged for the majority of its life and as a result all the rubbers around the windows are still supple with no signs of cracking, and there's no fading of the paintwork, which is common for a red car. The wheel arches are starting to corrode, along with the lower areas of the front and rear valance and sills, but there is no corrosion on the bodywork above the height of the wheel arches. There are also cracks on front and rear bumpers and a dent in the rear valance. (Please refer to photos) This would be easy fix for a bodyshop. During the recent MOT, the tester was amazed by the vehicle's condition for a car of this age. The vehicle was previously owned by my 96-year-old relative until last year.
The vehicle is equipped with new premium quality Uniroyal Rain Expert tyres, which have only been driven on for 1500 miles. They were purchased in August of this year at a cost of over £300 No expense has been spared in maintaining this vehicle.
The interior is in immaculate condition and looks like new. Both the driver and passenger seats have been protected by seat covers until recently, so they are in excellent condition with no signs of wear. Most Fiesta’s for sale of this age have sagging seats, but this example is an exception. It would be hard to find any better. The rear seats have hardly been sat on.
All badges and stickers are original and in excellent condition. Even the front and rear number plates are the original ones supplied with the vehicle from Brooklyn Ford.
The last MOT was carried out in September 2024, and it passed first time. The car comes with the original owner’s manual, Ford Audio system operating guide, and Fiesta Classic Quartz sales brochures. Unfortunately, the original service book has been misplaced by my elderly relative. It also includes the original jack, wheel nut wrench, and the 2 original car keys. The driver’s door lock failed recently and has been replaced. It would be very difficult to find a better example for sale if you are in the market for buying one of these appreciating classics. Ideally, I would like the car to go to a like-minded enthusiast, as these cars are becoming increasingly rare to find in this condition. This is a great opportunity to get into the classic car scene. It would not take much work to get this car into perfect condition and increase its value further. It generates lots of interest every time you park it and especially at car meets/ shows. Very reluctant sale, serious enquiries only please.

• 45, 522 miles - Oil & filter change (Mobil oil used)
All servicing carried out by myself (from 32, 000 miles onwards) has been thoroughly documented, and I have kept receipts for all parts.
Prior to this MARLBROOK AUTO CENTRE LIMITED, BIRMINGHAM ROAD, MARLBROOK, BROMSGROVE serviced the vehicle. The 1. 1HCS CFi engine is in fine health and drives as you would expect for such a low mileage car. The 5 speed manual gearbox is also in great shape with no crunches or whines. The car always starts first time.
I have just completed an oil change using Mobil Super 2000 X1 10w-40 oil and a Bosch oil filter in preparation for the new owner.
Overall this is a great example of an almost 30 year old Ford that is bound to only increase in value over the next few years.
The vehicle needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate its condition. The first person to see it will want to buy.
