Description
A very nice 1953 Ford Prefect e493a.
It’s had a full body restoration in recent years to include all new seat covering, door cards and carpets.
There is absolutely no rot anywhere on the car.
It has also had a 12 volt conversion and I have fitted modern indicators to help with today’s traffic.
These have been fitted to the bumper brackets as not to cut any holes into the wings so they could easily be removed if not required.
The only issue is there is a small electrical fault which when the ignition is turned on the fuel gauge, amp meter and temperature gauge go straight to maximum.
I have replaced the fuel sender in the tank so it’s got to be electrical.
The engine and gearbox are strong. I bought it because when I was younger an uncle had one and I always loved it, but unfortunately I can no longer keep it in my garage as I need the space and I don’t want to leave it outside all through the winter months under a cover.
Everybody always remarks how lovely it looks.
