Description
I bought the bike during lock down and fully rebuilt it with:
Matching number bike.
New chrome rims and stainless spokes, all paintwork redone inc frame and swinging arm
Engine rebuilt inc new valves guides and springs. Gearbox stripped and checked new parts where needed
New modern tyres, handles very well, new exhaust pipes , silencers and clamps, new wiring harness, forks fully rebuilt, brakes relined, new handle bars and levers etc. Too many parts to list but l have most receipts.
Bike is fitted with Chopped Monoblocs with a remote float chamber, this made it one of the fastest road bikes in its day
Reason for selling is l have a BSA RGS Rep so don't need 2 early 60's bikes, the Triumph is high compression and at 70 is a bit too much for me, the bike generally stars first or second kick
Put it in your front room and just look at it, much better than a TV
Any questions just askI am told it is a genuine English bike not an American one
