Description
This is my VW Beetle which I have owned for over 20 years. It has covered 64, 900 original miles, it is a 1967 deluxe model with a 1300 engine.
After driving it around for about 14 years in its original condition, I decided in 2018 to completely dismantled the car and had it repainted professionally in its original Zenith Blue colour. It was then carefully and meticulously rebuilt to the condition that you see today. It has been a true labour of love. Anything showing signs of age or unreliability has been replaced with original or best quality parts.
As virtually everything mechanical is new including all brakes, suspension, steering and axle and axle parts plus being fitted with a Vege reconditioned engine it drives beautifully and sounds fantastic.
All the rubber seals have been replaced with best quality German parts, the Beetle has an alternator conversion for more reliability and is running with electronic ignition.
The seats were reupholstered in cream with blue piping, a light blue carpet added and new TMI headliner.
The underbody and chassis have been fully treated with Dinitrol wax protection.
£1000 have been spent on this car, way in excess of the asking price as I never dreamed of ever selling it having owned it for so long.
The pictures reflect and show the cars beautiful condition. It has to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated.
