I purchased this vehicle in March 2024, it was advertised as an MOT failure due to chassis corrosion. The tub was removed and the chassis repaired cutting out the corroded steel and welding in new. This vehicle has had 3 previous owners the last one used it for his horticulture business. Some welding was required on the tub this was also carried out prior to the MOT in August. The chassis and tub was treated with rust inhibitor and then painted with chassis paint. I have fitted a second hand tub liner which in my opinion enhances the look of the vehicle New brake pads were fitted and the rear u/ j replaced , off side lower ball joint and rear spring hanger bushes replaced , oil and filter service very recently , New lock fitted to fuel tank door a common fault, I have replaced the rear bumper with a second hand genuine Toyota part . I have repaired a few of these in the past and in my opinion they are great value for money, very reliable and not too difficult to get replacement parts for. The truck is not a showroom exhibit, but everything works as it should apart from the rear diff locker I will probably replace this for the right purchaser. In my opinion it is something that few people would ever use. Please don't ask me to send countless pictures or bombard me with emails as I don't have the time.
