Description
1929 Austin 16/ 6 saloon not in concours condition but has original features including the suppliers name plate. The car runs and drives well, front seats reupholstered, wooden slats replaced in roof. The rear seat could do with a bit of attention.
The car has been in the family for many years and had a semi restoration about 15 years ago. There is quite a lot of paperwork with the car including old log books and tax discs.
There are a quantity of spares available under separate negotiation.
It will be sad to see the car go but a change in circumstance means the car has to be sold. The car originally belonged to my grandfather before being lent to my uncle who used it during and after the war to go between military airfields. The car then went back to my grandfather who used it up until the mid 60's when it was put into dry storage.
15 to 20 years ago it underwent a light restoration and was recommissioned by my uncle with my help.
