Description
For sale is my 1980 MGB Roadster. I have owned it for 4 years in which time I’ve only had time to put 1500 miles on it. I was fortunate to purchase a very sound , rust free vehicle which only needed a little work to make it a very reliable and original looking car. I have replaced the fuel tank and lines and reinstalled the overdrive (3rd & 4th). It has a new coil and distributor. It has been serviced every year during my ownership and has an MOT until March 2025.
Negatives - the paintwork looks amazing from a distance but on closer inspection could do with some reworking to do the car justice. The hood is fine but has two small tears. I’ve tried to show the negatives on the photos so there should be no surprises should you want to come and take a look.
It is very original with its deckchair fabric seating, excellent unmarked mini lite wheels and period radio/ cassette player. The dashboard presents very well with no cracks to the crinkle finish.
All in all a very presentable MGB Roadster with the potential to take it to the next level or just use as is.
I’m selling as I am just not using the vehicle as much as I should. Five previous owners who are all documented. Extensive history and service file dating back to original ownership with all MOTs back to 1983. Registered with MGB Register. Very original low mileage car. If your looking for a presentable MGB which you could use every day or want an affordable classic to take to the next level this could be just the vehicle for you.
