We sold this car around 12 months ago, unfortunately our customers eye site has deteriorated to such a point, he is no longer allowed do drive. If you know us or have read our reviews, you will know we specialise in the sale of mk1 Rover 75 cars, and we are passionate about sourcing, recommissioning and repatriating the very best examples available. Although we have previously sold an example with 8, 000 miles and 17, 000 miles, this wonderful car takes the bronze trophy for low mileage. At just 23, 000 miles, the car drives absolutely faultlessly as you will appreciate. Finished in Damson Red Coachwork with contrasting Magnolia Leather & Black Piping and Burr Walnut Dashboard. Arguably the very best colour combination, certainly my personal preference. The car is in stunning condition inside, outside, and underneath. The bodywork is free from any rust, unsightly scratches and / or dents. The boot is lovely and dry with no mould stained to the wooden spare wheel protector. The engine bay is super clean & tidy, as are the sills and arches. The leather is virtually unmarked and the rear seats look as if they have had very minimal use. Recent roof lining replacement, so no issues with this. You would really struggle to find a better UK example. This is a Longbridge produced 2002 vehicle, however it certainly has some of the better cosmetic features from the earlier Cowley produced vehicles. If I am not mistaken, the wood dashboard is a real one, and the car has the Rover embossed boot finisher and larger boot badge. The car was supplied by CD Bramall of Hemel Hempstead and is still sporting its dealer front number plate and rear window sticker. The car has a collection of bills, invoices and a service book. We have evidence of services carried out at 2. 9K, 11. 9K, 20K, 23. 2K and 23. 9K. The car has been MOTd every year since 2013, covering just shy of 2, 000 miles a year on average thereafter. What it did before 2013 will have to be an educated guess. Let me start with what we do know, it was owned initially for 3 months as dealer demonstrator, and then sold to a private owner who kept it for over 11 years. This ownership covers the 2002 to 2013 period. The online MOT checker usually displays back until 2006, so I would imagine the car was stored unused from at least 2006 to 2013, when potentially it was released from a probate sale. Therefore I would conclude the car probably only had very minimal usage over the first 3 to 4 years. The 3 cambelts and waterpump were changed in December 2020 at 20, 000 miles. We inspected them in 2023, the rear belts were as new with very minimal wear to the front belt. Supplied with MOT until August 2025 (singular advisory for brake pipe replaced), serviced, subject to a stringent pre delivery inspection, 2 keys, HPI clear certificate, service history and 6 months warranty.
