Lancia Fulvia Berlina GTE, year 1969 (first registration 23 June 1969). Chassis (VIN) number 818. 310. 008. 476, engine number 818. 302. 028. 126. Colour dark blue combined with a light grey cloth interior and special black/ blue protective rubber floor mats. This stylish Lancia Fulvia Berlina GTE was sold new to a Mr. Gaetano Scalfarri who lived in in Vibo Valentia, Calabria, south Italy. The Fulvia Berlina was designed by Antonio Fessia, as a replacement for the Lancia Appia. The general technical design of the Fulvia was identical to that of the Flavia, with the major exception of the engine. The Flavia featured a four-cylinder boxer engine and the Fulvia a ‘narrow angle’ V4 engine. In November 1968 the sporty GTE model was presented on the Turin Motor show. The GTE was fitted with the 1298 cc engine of the Coupé Rally 1. 3 which brought the top speed to 162 km/ h. Furthermore, the Fulvia Berline GTE was fitted with a brake bias corrector on the rear axle. This first series Fulvia Berlina is in a very good to excellent original condition. The odometer shows 24. 845 kilometres. The bodywork was beautifully repainted in the original colour in the in the past, the interior is in a pristine original condition! Recently the automobile has received extensive service and the brakes were overhauled (including renewal of the brake lines and master cylinder), invoices with a total of over €4000 are present. Only 10. 386 examples of the Lancia Fulvia Berlina GTE were built. This is a wonderful gem for the Lancia enthusiast and collector.
