Description
We are offering for sale this Triumph TR3 A, delivered new on 16 October 1958. A few years ago it underwent a complete restoration to a very high standard and is now in remarkable condition. The bodywork is in perfect condition, with no notable defects. The chrome parts, bumpers, radiator grille, headlight surrounds and other parts are as new.
The high-quality leather interior, soft top, side-screens and tonneau cover show no signs of wear.
To simplify this presentation and give you an idea of the condition of this Triumph, everything is new! Having had the pleasure of driving the car on country roads as well as in Parisian traffic, with its traffic jams and cobbled streets, we can tell you that it is in very good mechanical condition. It drives and brakes in a straight line without any parasitic noise, its engine revs smoothly, and the 4-speed gearbox and overdrive shift perfectly.
A number of improvements have been made to the engine, including an increase in intake volume and the installation of a roller rocker arm shaft. Two WEBER 45 twin-barrel carburettors have been fitted to aluminium intake manifolds, and it is equipped with an electric fuel pump and filter/ pressure regulator, an aluminium radiator, an electric fan, a top-quality alternator, a more powerful starter motor and a high-performance igniter and coil. The TR3's handling has not been forgotten: in addition to a larger anti-roll bar and bigger brakes, chromed wire wheels with a larger diameter and width have been fitted, giving it a better seat and better roadholding.
Sold overhauled with no cost to you, this is surely one of the finest Triumph TR3 A's currently available for sale. Do not hesitate to contact us to make an appointment. The car can be seen in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, 5 minutes from Porte de Versailles and the Paris exhibition centre.
