Only 960 of this type were made. This Pininfarina creation is rare to find and certainly if the work involved is in any way manageable. a crashworthy car that needs no restoration on crucial body parts. All the body seams run parallel and function as they should. Here and there you see rust, nowhere has it penetrated and recovery is easy to supervise. The lower doors deserve special attention, however, with simple measures and low costs, these doors can be repaired with care. Take a look at the photos of the underside and the engine compartment. Never welded, rock hard and rust free. Technically, this 504 V6 convertible is also in good condition. The car has undergone a technical inspection in Mallorca every year and has been maintained and repaired according to the German method; if in doubt, replace with "new". We have now covered 500 km with it. One turn of the key and the 6 cylinders start working immediately; the car picks up well at all revs and idles well. Tight steering with power steering that works well, and the suspension, shock absorption and stabilisers work perfectly. This older lady brakes well (see also photos below) even the handbrake operation is factory compliant. Here and there, a few cosmetic tweaks are needed with this 49-year-old Peugeot 504, and the leather interior deserves new cushions on both front seats, restoring this car's much-loved seating comfort. Of course, you use this car to drive most of the time open, but the current convertible top needs to be replaced. We still have a piece of new convertible top in stock (sunny earth beige) and the buyer gets it from us. You rarely come across a 504 cabriolet that you can drive straight away and repairs/ adjustments are not immediately necessary. We are not currently able to carry out all of the above work and therefore offer this 504 cabriolet "in its juice"! If this car has been modified in all of the above ways, there is a car worth at least €55, 000 . In short, a very interesting investment ! This could be a particularly interesting autumn-winter project that you'll really enjoy now and in the future.
