C22 - Delivered new in Belgium! Recaro seats and Momo steering wheel Weber carburettors + K&N sport filters Porsche certificate available Ready to drive THE '73 911 The 911 was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1963, meeting all the criteria set by Dr Porsche. It resembled the previous model, but was more powerful, more flexible, quieter and offered more space for people and luggage than the 356. The 911's bodywork was functional and breathtakingly beautiful, in an ageless design that has remained remarkably consistent and incredibly pure from the original design right through to the current 911 models.
In 1972, the year of the attractive and fully restored example shown here, the engine displacement had been increased to 2, 341 cm3 (2. 4 litres), which produced 140 bhp in the 911 T version. THIS '73 911 This late 1973, left-hand drive, 2. 4-litre 'T' 911 was originally delivered in Belgium and appears to be in very good condition, both inside and out. It spent some time in England and France before returning to its country of origin some fifteen years ago. It is classically presented in silver metallic with a black interior, and according to its Porsche certificate, the car is still perfectly matched, so both colours, engine and gearbox are original. The car comes with a large history binder dating back to 1996 and it can be seen that a lot of work has been done to the car in recent years. The engine is fitted with Weber carburettors for easy tuning. K&N filters have been added to get that lovely throaty intake sound. The car has just undergone a major overhaul, and on opening the door we are greeted by a classic black interior that has been nicely upgraded. The replica Recaro Sport seats offer incredible support during spirited driving, the Momo steering wheel has been fitted to further enhance driving pleasure and offer more feedback from the front wheels. The carpets have been replaced in the past and are, of course, still in pristine condition. The rest of the car is completely original and shows only minor signs of use and patina. The car was ordered from the factory with some sporty options, including a rear anti-roll bar, S equipment and bumpers. The first 911s had a certain purity of line, particularly in the bright colours, a far cry from the aerodynamic extravaganzas of the 80s and 90s, and in terms of styling, they were the first cars to attract the most appreciative glances. A well-tuned and maintained 911T, even with just 140bhp, when driven with an intelligent right foot, will give you some of the most rewarding driving experiences you've ever had, and leave you with a serious smile on your face! The car is currently registered in Belgium and is being sold in the name of our customer.
