The Triumph TR3A is of course a very elegant and sporty roadster to look at and certainly to drive. But that certainly applies to this beautiful 1959 Triumph TR3A in rally form. This classic British roadster is perfectly suited to rally events and has a Fiva ID card. This means you can take part in international rally events. It is one of the few examples destined for the European market and therefore also has an original odometer (instead of miles). In the past, the car has been fully restored and the original Primrose Yellow colour has been replaced by the current Old English White. A first TR4 engine was fitted during the restoration, which was revised in 2002, and the car is still in exceptionally good condition. The body colour still has a nice sheen and the various chrome parts and trim are also still in very good condition. The paintwork has a few small spots, but is actually still very good. The black leather seats are still in very good condition and very comfortable. The dashboard is also in immaculate condition and all the instruments work properly. The Brantz Tripmaster and classic stopwatch have recently been installed and are of course working well. The classic map light also works well. The leather sports steering wheel feels nice and firm in the hand and feels direct, this Triumph TR3A is perfectly suited for a wonderful ride. The engine revs nicely and smoothly and the car also shifts gears well and accurately. The available overdrive offers more comfort at higher speeds. The car drives in a sporty and direct manner.
