Description
MG B GT 1975 LHD OVERDRIVE for sale.
This car was first registered in 1975. It is a very well maintained example, ready to take to the road as an oldtimer, or even in daily use. The 1, 800 cm3 engine works perfectly and provides adequate power. Maintenance is carried out regularly (oil, oil filter, air filters, carburettors, etc.). This MG is fitted with an overdrive gearbox, a much-appreciated option that makes the engine run more smoothly at higher speeds, enhancing driving pleasure over longer distances. The chassis and rocker panels are in sound condition, with no punctures or other damage. The bodywork is also in good condition, still sporting its original 1975 paintwork, and the attractive chrome rostyle wheels with new tyres accentuate the car's chrome harmony.
The interior, which is truly typical of the 70s, is also in very good condition. The seats and velour upholstery are in good condition, and all the instruments work perfectly. A spare wheel and the necessary safety equipment are in the boot.

The changes were not limited to a simple hardtop: using parts from Renault and Simca, among others, he designed a car with its own personality, with a sloping roofline and a Ferrari-like rear end. The design was so well received that Coune decided to produce it. Building on this success, MG introduced the MGB GT in 1965. This closed version was also known as the 'poor man's Aston Martin'. The GT's beautiful lines were in part due to the involvement of the great master of body shapes: Pininfarina, who also built the prototype.
