I'm parting with my Citroën GS Spécial dated 22 May 1979... ... One of the last first-generation GS Spécial since the GSA (second generation) will be offered in July 79.
Having received a simple coat of paint in 2020... just to restore its former glory, it is now in like-new condition... No welding has been carried out, no rework.... just a simple coat of paint in its original colour... The bodywork: Total absence of corrosion or surface rust blisters!!!
The generally sensitive areas such as the door sills, the bottom of the wings, the rocker panels... everything is in as-new condition!!.. As for the chromes, we have chosen to keep the original ones, which are in excellent condition, without the slightest trace of rust... When you open the door, you take a leap back to the 70s with a completely original interior in as-new condition!A rarity today... In fact, all the upholstery, floor mats, headlining, .... everything is absolutely original and shows not the slightest trace of wear!!! Mechanically... NO COST TO BE EXPECTED!! With only 85, 200 original km, its little 1130 cc engine is in great shape...
It has just undergone a complete overhaul, with all fluids changed, spark plugs replaced, gearbox drained, etc. As for the suspension, the spheres were also replaced in 2020 and are working perfectly.
