Description
Hello , L'atelier des 1000 has the pleasure to offer you for sale this 1981 Porsche 911 3. 0 SC in an elegant configuration with this glossy Black colour and its matching interior DESCRIPTION : The iconic and timeless 911 will continue to make tomorrow's youth dream . This coupé, whose pure lines are instantly recognisable, bears the SC badge for Super Carrera, inherited from the 356 and equipped with the most powerful engine of its time.
Powered by a 204bhp, 3-litre flat 6 engine, this version is the most balanced of the G-series: far more reliable than the 2. 7 with its magnesium crankcases, it is also more responsive and easier to handle than the 3. 2.
The engine has just undergone a complete overhaul at a specialist flatbed shop, so some running-in is in order to ensure performance and longevity.
The vehicle is of Californian origin and is accompanied by its service book, period documentation and duplicate keys.
A large file of invoices is provided, nearly €35, 000 over the last 15 years.
The current owner is a seasoned collector of the marque, who is selling the car because he is moving abroad. He has carried out almost €18, 000 worth of work on the vehicle since he imported it in 2016.
The previous owner spent almost $20, 000 on the car between 2007 and 2015.
This 911 has now clocked up 193, 000 miles or around 7, 000km per year since leaving the factory and is still in great shape! Unlike many 911s on the market which have suffered damage to their odometers and had to be replaced, this one has its original odometer and proudly displays its real mileage. A simple test drive will make you forget the mileage displayed, so precise is this car's handling. MECHANICS: Mechanically, the vehicle behaves perfectly, its engine starts easily without noise or smoke and has full power. The 5-speed gearbox guides and locks well, the clutch shows no sign of weakness. The running gear is precise, the steering is firm and shows no abnormal play. The steering ball joints and the front and rear stabiliser bar silent blocks were replaced in 2023. The brakes have recently been completely rebuilt, and the master cylinder, callipers and hoses are new. The shock absorbers are in good condition and provide firm, precise handling. The battery has been replaced for sale, and a battery isolator has also been fitted. BODYWORK & CHASSIS: The paintwork is tight and has a perfect shine, with no noticeable scratches or surface defects.
The vehicle is fitted with an electric sunroof in perfect working order. The underbody is in keeping with the general condition of the car. Sound, with no corrosion or traces of a major accident.
The chromed Fuchs wheels are in good condition and show no signs of impact. The upholstery is in very good condition, with a slight patina that we particularly appreciate.
There are no cracks in the dashboard, and all the instruments are in perfect working order. The vehicle is fitted with cruise control. Favourable technical inspection French registration in collection Delivery possible in Europe Warranty possible up to 12 months In view of the condition of the vehicle and the costs incurred, we are asking €64, 990 for a trade-in and possible exchange.
