The Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III is the latest version of the Austin-Healey 3000. This latest model is divided into two phases: Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 2 features a 25mm higher chassis ground clearance (for better exhaust protection), lower rear suspension spring rates, rear axle steering and reinforced spoked wheel hubs. The direction indicators were separated from the running lights, and the brake discs were larger in diameter. It was produced until March 1968. The model we are presenting to you was put on the road in 1966. It spent the first part of its life in the USA in the state of Massachusetts. The car was then imported to France by its current owner in October 2009, and underwent a complete restoration at the end of 2010 by an Austin Healey specialist (list of work below). Since 2010, the car has been regularly and scrupulously maintained by a classic car specialist, and has always been kept in a dry garage. It has remained in the hands of its current owner, who wishes to sell it today, and is still in impeccable concours condition. The gearbox guides and locks the gears perfectly and the overdrive is very efficient.
