Description
Known as Slantnose, Flatnose and many other names, this option available via Porsche Sonderwunsch (then Porsche Exclusive from 1986) was a tribute to the 935 and was chosen very rarely, as only 34 examples were produced with this specification in the 1983 model year.
The example we are offering for sale is one of those 34 Flat Noses, and was one of the first to be produced with fibre door panels rather than the plastic ones of later vintages. Built and sold by the Exclusive Department, it was delivered from the Stuttgart factory to its first owner on 30 November 1982. Imported to Monaco in the 1990s, it was serviced in a Porsche Centre (Groupe Segond Monaco) in 1995 with just over 7, 000 km on the clock before joining a French collection. In excellent condition inside and out, the car is finished in its original Grand Prix White colour, combined with a beige and black interior and boasts a fine list of options for the period, including sunroof, air conditioning, Kenwood and JBL audio system with Blaupunkt station, and 40% limited slip differential. This 930 Turbo Flat Nose with Matching Numbers now has 22, 500 km on the clock. Finally, a major service will of course be carried out before the car is handed over to its new owner.
The car can be viewed by appointment in our showroom. Please do not hesitate to request a video or the digitised history file, which we will be delighted to share. You can contact us by e-mail or telephone for any request.
