The Attractions

Producing over fifty per cent of the cars sold in the Italian domestic market, Fiat was going through a period of great success in the mid 1920s. This allowed them to continuously improve their range, introducing improvements to the successful 501 model to create the 503 in 1926. It offered a four-speed gearbox, unusual for the time, and the remarkable output of 27 horsepower, thanks to its 1,460 cc four-cylinder engine.

Equipped with a limousine body, this beautiful example is particularly interesting for having belonged to a noble Italian family. The seller bought it several years ago and carried out a complete restoration before carefully preserving it. The engine was not started for four years after the restoration, although we have been informed that it is in running condition and runs freely, although it will require a general overhaul having been idle for so long. For those looking for an undemanding project and a rare vintage classic, this car represents an excellent opportunity.
