The Appeal
Gaze at this beautiful ‘54 ‘Vette and you can almost smell the enthusiasm of Chevrolet’s designers. Their goal was an American version of the European sports cars arriving home with returning GIs.
The Corvette did all that, its sleek, evocative lines kick-starting a lineage that continues to this day. The detailing is exquisite, like the bullet rear lights and shark teeth grille. The Sportsman Red of this car is a particularly good shade for highlighting the early Corvette’s style.
Enthusiasts appreciate the purity of these early cars. Just 3,640 ‘54s were built and this restored car looks like an especially good one. For lovers of evocative ‘50s Americana it looks enticing.
