The Appeal
Still characterised by pre-war aesthetics and perky performance, the TF was one of the final developments of the MG T-Types. It was a curious mix of new and old, with the facelift faring the headlights into those sweeping wings, a sloped-back radiator and even a fake radiator cap. It's become almost synonymous with the classic roadster, and it's easy to see why - they're a glamorous aesthetic with surprisingly capable performance.
This fine example of a TF1250 was built at Abingdon in February 1954, and was treated to a comprehensive rebuilt in 1998 - something that's still shining from. Since then, it's led a remarkably comfortable lifestyle - having covered under 7,000 miles. That means an average of only 200 miles per year over the past 36 years.
That doesn't mean it's merely been left alone in its garage, however - the car has been serviced regularly and very well looked after, leading to an utterly fabulous classic both inside and out, ready and waiting to hit the road with the lucky bidder. It's not often we come face to face with a TF in this sort of condition - and we're sure it'll get plenty of interest!
