The Attractions
The Fiat 600 is one of the most important symbols of the Italian 'economic miracle'. Its compact dimensions and good road holding made it a perfect city car, a formula that would be repeated a few years later by its even smaller and more iconic cousin. The 600 is undoubtedly one of the most historically important cars ever produced by the Turin factory.
This particular 1957 600 was expertly tuned and prepared for the regularity races of the Mille Miglia, with a high-performance engine from the Fiat 850, enlarged wheels and a sporty set-up to enable it to tackle the races in style. All original parts, including the engine, are still in the car, offering the next owner the possibility of restoring the car to its original condition if he so wishes.
