The Attractions
The Flaminia was Lancia's flagship model, the ultimate expression of the company's typical innovation and sophistication and a highly prestigious car destined for the most affluent clientele.
Only a few examples of the convertible model were made by Touring, adding the allure of open-air driving to Lancia's advanced technical features. Only 687 cars with 2.5-litre engines like this one were produced.
It is finished in metallic grey, one of the most desirable colours for this model, combined with a red leather interior. Restored in the 1980s and 1990s to a high standard and maintained with great care thereafter, it is in excellent condition. According to the seller, a respected classic car expert, it does not need any work. Its history and characteristics are verified by FIVA and ASI certificates.
This is a truly remarkable example of one of the most beautiful cars ever produced in Italy, made even more desirable by the particularly desirable colour scheme.

The Mechanics
Lancia V6 engine of 2.458cm³ developing 135 hp
Three carburettors
Manual gearbox with 4 gears plus reverse
Rarely used and very well preserved
The seller has informed us that the car is in excellent condition
We were also informed that the car does not need any mechanical intervention
Under the long bonnet of this convertible is Lancia's sophisticated 2.5-litre V6, mated to a manual gearbox. Touring only made 687 cabriolets equipped with this engine.
The Tipo 824 convertibles were fitted with three carburettors, allowing the remarkable output of 135 hp, only slightly less than the 160 hp delivered by the 2.8-litre engine.
The mechanics of this car were completely restored in the 1980s and 1990s and afterwards it was rarely driven and always received regular maintenance. The seller, a specialist in high-end classic cars, has informed us that it works properly and requires no intervention.
