Of the many versions of the original 911, this 1969 model is surely amongst the best. Just 1,492 of these sweet-revving 2litre flat six cars were built before the 2.2litre model arrived. Mixing 170bhp with 995kg nimbleness, these cars are highly sought after and collectable.
This is one of the best 2litre 911s we’ve seen in a while. It is a 'matching numbers' coupé finished in pretty special order blue metallic with a retrimmed beige interior and Fuchs wheels. A recent restoration means it comes to market in very good condition.
Early 911s like this one closely mirrored Ferdinand Porsche’s vision of a light, agile sports car with a small engine. For enthusiasts of these distinctive cars, this is one not to miss.
