The Appeal
Probably the most famous roadster ever built, the MGB, sold for almost 20 years in over 500,000 examples, has acquired cult status and is one of the most celebrated and collected classic cars.
Agile, nippy and with an extremely involving drive, thanks to its low and light bodywork that makes the car feel as if it were one with the road, the MGB revamped the landscape of small two-seater sports cars in the early 1960s by introducing a revolutionary and much-imitated formula.
With a sturdy new monocoque, a simple and refined design reminiscent of the grand tourers of the time, and a comfortable, well-equipped and elegant interior, the MGB was the forerunner of a new generation of fascinating spiders that were relatively inexpensive and very easy to maintain.
This beautiful roadster was built in the last year that the car was available with chrome-plated steel bumpers, making it particularly desirable and giving it an irresistibly vintage look.
After being imported to Europe from Canada in good condition, the body was repainted and the mechanics fine-tuned, while the underbody received an anti-rust treatment to preserve it over time.
Repainted in its iconic original signal red, with a well-preserved interior and well-maintained mechanics, this MGB represents an important opportunity to make your own a fine example of one of the world's best-known and best-loved cars, in excellent condition and ready to drive.
