Practically synonymous with the 70s, The FS1-E was Yamaha's legendary FS1 with the English suffix - slightly more standardised and arguably more practical, these colloquially-named 'Fizzys' were a huge hit - and Yamaha introduced various improvements such as a front disc brake (FS1-E DX model) over the years.
This bike is exactly one of those, was part of a private collection for eleven years and is in restored condition, having been kept in a heated environment and used very sparingly.
The bike's 49cc matching numbers engine and manual transmission still offer fun, nimble performance on the road - and is bound to impress any enthusiast.

✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
