Bulkhead repair and respray carried out in 2008 with photo evidence
A desirable galvanised 300SL in superb all-round condition
The Appeal
The R107 is so well-established in the car world that it almost feels like a fool's errand to introduce them. Timeless design, robust engineering, attractive trims - these were one of the ultimate renditions of the roadster formula, and continue to endure in remarkable numbers to this day.
This example is from one of the final production runs of the distinguished car, and comes to us in a lovely combination of Signal Red with a cream cabin. It's little wonder it's proven such a headturner throughout its current ownership.
This car has had only two keepers from new, and has been with the current since 1998. As a result, it's accompanied by a comprehensive service history, including a photographic record of a bulkhead repair and respray in 2008. As if to sweeten the deal further, the MOT is valid all the way up until May 2025.
