The Appeal
The Mercedes-Benz W124 was a natural progression from its predecessors. Though suitably modified, it still carried a familiar central grille, boxy styling and - of course - top-notch reliability, all of which had become practically synonymous with the company's products.
This particular example is a rare 4matic all-wheel drive variant. Originally produced for Spain in 1989, it has been well-maintained by two foreign registered keepers before being imported to Germany. The car has recently undergone a comprehensive service, including the replacement of all filters and fluids, new spark plugs and ignition cables, new injectors, and new disc and brake shoes.
This 90s' classic has passed both the Spanish ITV and German TÜV inspections in 2023, with a clean exterior finish and a charming original cabin.
