The Attractions
The Van Diemen RF88 and RF89 dominated the Formula Ford 1600, winning podiums and championship victories all over the world. These simple, agile cars are perfect for both track and hillclimb racing.
This RF89 was part of Henry Morrogh's driver school. It has recently received a thorough overhaul and tuning of the chassis, engine and gearbox, and has subsequently participated in one track day and five hillclimb races.
It has an FIA Historic Passport for the FF/2C class valid until December 2029 and will be delivered with a wealth of spare parts, including four spare wheels and tyres, springs, gear ratios, crankshaft and cylinder head.
Presented in an attractive red and white colour scheme and in excellent condition after the restoration received, this is a very competitive example of the RF89.
