A rare collaboration between the British Sports Car specialist, Lotus, and the practical saloons of Opel, the Lotus Omega was in essence an upgraded saloon with an extra eye for performance. The pitch was simple; but the enlarged engine, with a new wasted-spark distributor, crankshafts, rods and slipper pistons, was a work of refinement - if it could be upgraded, it was, and the car paid back the investment in droves. The resultant Lotus Omega was powered by a 3.6-litre twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine producing an impressive 377 HP, which is married to a manual 6-speed gearbox.
With only 950 units ever made, they've become a unique opportunity. Originally delivered in Belgium in 1991, this vehicle has only had two former registered keepers and has been cosseted. In 2019, numerous new, original parts were fitted, ensuring the car remains in top condition.
