The Appeal
Ducati’s original M900 Monster was the firm’s saviour. The name was appropriate and buyers lapped up this big and brutal ‘naked’ bike. The smaller M600 broadened the range giving many customers their first taste of a ‘big bike.’
Here is one of the earliest Monsters built, one that retains the classic Cagiva logos. It comes to market with an interesting back story. It was discovered in a barn having been stored for 20 of its 30 years.
The vendor has just completed a meticulous restoration, with a full engine and body overhaul using original Ducati parts. With over €1,500 invested in spare parts alone, this bike is in excellent condition and ready for the road.
