Classic Car Design offers you this beautiful Porsche 911 2, 4 S from 1972. It has been modified in "2, 7 RS look" almost 40 years ago! There was less concern about the original bolt! So be careful, this is not a "back-dated" 911 G but a classic 911 whose aesthetics have been revised to be more sporty, tuning of the time in a way!
On the outside, proof that the work was done in the rules of the art, the body was stripped with treatment of the hollow bodies, the car has a very beautiful presentation with its very seventies yellow colour enhanced by the Carrera stripes and the red rims. The famous spoiler and the "RS" shields are complemented by the additional headlights and the small "obus" mirrors. The wheels are of course real Fuchs. We appreciate the chromes of these generations which are in good condition. The pop-out quarter windows open perfectly.
Inside, the cabin is very well preserved. The dashboard, doors and roof lining are in very good condition. There are also a few minor, but not shocking, deviations from the original. One can notice the Recaro seats coming from another car and the Lecarra steering wheel. The carpets, which are in new condition, have been embellished with red piping to match the exterior.
Mechanically, like the rest of the car, the engine which is "matching", the gearbox, the suspension and the brakes have benefited from a lot of work. Even though it has not been driven much in recent years, the car has always been maintained in perfect working order.
An expert opinion testifies to the very good overall condition of this 911, which is a "testimonial" car of a more relaxed era in terms of customisation. Nevertheless, it has that authenticity that today's back-daters cannot claim. It's a classic 911 that can be driven without a second thought...
