Description
The dynamic first design of 911 came to an end in 1973 after nine years of production and most experts agree that these were the Diamond years for this amazing design.
Final cars produced, therefore, had the benefit of years of model development and improvements culminating in what could be the best models such as the Carrera RS, SE and T models.
This beautiful UK RHD was originally registered as a 911S 2. 7 in 1975 and is a matching numbers manual 5 speed car.
Over the past few years it has been subject of a light mechanical overhaul and recent work includes a top end engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild, new clutch, new brake discs, pads and hoses etc.
She has an very straight bodyshell with lovely clean panels and body colour underside that is incredibly well presented. The standard of paint finish is high, and car presents as a well detailed, carefully owned car. The interior trim is delightful with lovely clean original looking seats, smart clean door cards, carpets and excellent dashboard and working dials/ gauges. The engine bay is sharp and very tidy, as is the luggage compartment under the bonnet. On the road the 911 is lively, the 2. 7 original engine is in very good order having had a recent top end rebuild. The five speed rebuilt gearbox changes superbly, the clutch is new and having had lots of recent expenditure the car is mechanically very strong.
