Description
In the winter of 1937, the four-seater BMW 327 Cabriolet came onto the market. The elegant lines of the body were immediately recognised, but sales got off to a slow start. For many, the BMW 326, also as a convertible, was more practical. In 1938, the 327/ 28 variant with the more powerful engine was added to the range and suddenly the 327 Cabriolet was in demand. Today, this model is in great demand. The engine power of 40 kW/ 55 hp is sufficient to keep up well in traffic. The handling of the pre-war classic is easy, the classic car drives like a car of the 50s.
Our BMW 327 Cabriolet comes from Austria. A German collector bought the classic, had it disassembled, overhauled and repainted. The current owner, who owns a garage, reassembled it. The convertible has been registered in Germany again since 2022.
