Von Beginn an stand der Name Lancia für fortschrittlichen und innovativen Automobilbau. So zählten die für den Rennsport entwickelte De Dion Hinterachse, obenliegende Nockenwellen, vordere Einzelradaufhängung und die erste selbsttragende Karosserie zu den Pionierleistungen von Vincenzo Lancia. Unter der Regie seines Sohnes Gianni entstand die berühmte Aurelia Baureihe mit den Modellen B20 und B24, mit denen Lancia zahlreiche Erfolge im internationalen Motorsport feierte.
Es wurden lediglich 194 Stück in der Serie VI produziert.
Das hier vorgestellte Fahrzeug wurde am 18. Januar 1958 fertiggestellt und kurz darauf nach Schweden ausgeliefert, wo es mehr als 40 Jahre beheimatet war. Später wurde der Wagen in Deutschland umfangreich restauriert. Das Fahrzeug ist „Matching-Number!“ (Motor) und verfügt über eine gut dokumentierte Geschichte. Zahlreiche historische Unterlagen, wie Fahrtenbuch und Zulassungsbelege sind im Original vorhanden. Dies ist eine äußerst seltene Gele-genheit, einen Lancia Aurelia B20 GT mit seltener Mittelschaltung und LHD in einem herausragenden Zustand.

Description:
Right from the beginning the name Lancia was connected with progressive and innovative automotive engineering. The pioneering work of Vincenzo Lancia included the De Dion rear axle, overhead camshafts, independent front suspension and the first self-supporting body. Under the direction of his son Gianni the famous Aurelia series with the B20 and B24 models was created, with which Lancia celebrated numerous successes in international motor sport.
Only 194 examples of the series VI were produced.
The vehicle presented here was completed on January 18th, 1958 and shortly after it was delivered to Sweden where it remained for more than 40 years. Later the car was extensively restored in Germany. The car is "matching-numbers!” (engine) and has a well-documented history. Several historical documents such as the original logbook and registration documents are available. This is an extremely rare opportunity to become the owner of a Lancia Aurelia B20 GT with rare central gearshift and LHD in an outstanding condition.
