Description
A lovely example of this rare Series II Zagato with the later all steel body, manufactured by Zagato in its Terrazzano Factory in Italy.
In its refreshed original colour of Avorio S. Anita with a Black Vinyl interior
In the SII specification it has the front opening bonnet, all round disc brakes, fitted with the 1300cc engine and a five speed gearbox.
It was first registered to it a Snr Franco Boeu of Milan in 30/ 08/ 1971. It was then sold to its second owner in February 1973 a Snr Bruno Furlan born 11/ 01/ 1949 living in Piave. He then moved in 1974 to Vittorio Veneto. It was then part exchanged in the late 1980’s to a main dealers A Botter & P sas of Treviso, where it had resided in their private collection until we recently purchased it from.
After his slumber for all those years in their collection we fully serviced him, with also the light recommissioning that was required. He has at running temperature a really excellent oil pressure, both at tick over & 2, 500 revs. We have driven him already to one of our local show’s, at the Classic Car & Retro Show at The Lawn in Rochford.
There are a lot more general & detailed pictures of him on our website at Classics-Cabriolets. com.
It is to be MOT’d although exempt then registered onto, an age related Historic tax exempt registration.
