Description
This lovely Austin Seven has only come to market following the death of the owner. The car has not been in use for several years, but we have carried out a basic recommissioning and it runs and drives wells. The next custodian will no doubt take the recommissioning further, but the car needs very little and is in exceptionally nice condition. The interior is very clean and the car has clearly been restored in the past. The headlining is excellent and the seats are free of any rips or tears and remain in very good order. The paintwork is very nice; there are blemishes dotted around, but nothing significant and everything about this car suggests an older restoration.
The engine is showing good oil pressure and is running cleanly. The gearbox goes through the gears without issue. The car also benefits from a fully operational sunshine roof.
The history file includes a large workshop manual and driver's handbook along with some miscellaneous invoices and a copy of an old form V5.
This is a very nice example of an Austin 7 and it just needs a new custodian to use and enjoy the car. We feel it is very competitively priced given its excellent condition.
