1930 Austin 7 Swallow two-seat Tourer
The Austin Seven Swallow is regarded as the ancestor of Jaguar cars.
The Company founder William Lyons, together with Thomas Walmsley, produced motorcycle sidecars, forming a partnership as the Swallow Sidecar Company during 1922. By 1927 they were manufacturing new stylish bodies for Austin Sevens, for owners seeking more individuality.
Several different styles were available - a 2 seat tourer and a saloon.
We are delighted to offer this rare two-seat tourer, first registered in London on 6th May 1930, most likely supplied by Henley’s, the main Austin distributors.
There is a considerable amount of history with this delightful little car and full details be updated on our website, along with more photographs and a video as soon as she arrives.
