Description
motodrome offer for sale this fantastic 1995 Audi RS2 finished in Nogaro Blue with two-tone blue alcantara/ black leather, which for most aficionados is the only colour combination to have.
From the moment these rare cars, with only 182 UK RHD examples built, were introduced in 1994, they’ve been regarded as nailed-on classics, and are really the first estate car to be engineered like, and have the performance of, a high performance sports car. It was also the first Audi to wear the coveted RS badge.
Produced in collaboration with Porsche (and assembled by Porsche) they feature the legendary Audi 5-cylinder 20v turbo motor, tuned by Porsche including a bigger turbo, heavy duty intercooler, revised camshaft and bigger injectors to produce 311hp, 6-speed manual gearbox, quattro 4 wheel drive, and locking rear differential. Porsche raided the 968 Clubsport parts bin for the suspension, brakes, 17in cup wheels (shod in this instance with a matching set of Toyo Prosport tyres) and wing mirrors.
Inside they were fitted with part-electric Recaro front seats, and carbon fibre trim.
Further spec includes aircon, abs, airbags, electric sunroof/ windows/ mirrors, RS sports steering wheel, remote alarmed central locking with immobiliser, period Becker stereo system, trip computer, and luggage cover.
Performance-wise, they’re still astounding 30 years on, as a fast 100-mile drive confirmed for me.
This one, in standard spec as far as we can see, with the exception of a Milltek exhaust and silicone blue underbonnet hoses, has an odometer reading of 158000 miles, supported by a huge history file, and it’s condition is a testament to it’s build quality and to the way previous owners have cared for it over the years.
Last serviced at 155861 miles, including timing belt and water pump replacement.
We have 2 sets of keys and fobs
Comes with MOT to June 2025 with no advisories, and 6 months warranty on sale
We’re told it’s fitted with a tracker, which, if you want to use it, will require reactivation and a subscription.
On our own website, you’ll find our usual two videos: a walkaround appraisal, and driving impressions, which form part of the description.
