Description
This Audi 80 CD came directly from the Audi UK Heritage fleet, which would explain its freakishly low mileage. The car is MoT exempt, but was tested in 2023, when it passed without advisories. Since then, it's done less than 1000 miles.
While it was in Audi's possession, it was serviced annually, and all of these garage visits are documented. It comes with three sets of keys, and is currently fitted with an aftermarket immobiliser. Since I've owned it, I've replaced the heater blower, which was seized, re-wired the stereo and repaired the central locking system, which was kaput – and now works fine (if a little lazily, as they do). It was also converted to manual choke in the dim and distant past.
It's in remarkably original condition, with an almost unmarked interior and original Blaupunkt stereo cassette player. The bodywork is tidy, but not perfect, with very minor damage to the driver's side rear corner, and some scuffing to a couple of the bumper corners. The window surround trims are also starting to get scruffy. But it is complete, which is exceptionally rare for one of these.
It also comes with a small box of spares, with some rare parts such as rear light clusters and other pieces of assorted trim.
I am the fourth owner of the car, have been in possession of it since 2021, and am only considering selling it because I am trying to scrape together a house deposit (and it's so hard to save up these days). It's a shame because it was a childhood dream of mine – but I suppose, it can now become your next dream car!I bought it because I had one in my 20s, and loved it. Getting this one was amazing, because it was such a low-mileage and cared-for example. It's unique in the UK at least for having so few miles on it, so if you're after an 80 (B2), this is about as good as it gets, condition and originality-wise.
