Vehicle history:
On October 8th, 1956 the first delivery of this Bentley S1 Saloon took place at the company Imperial Typewriter LTD in Lychester. At that time as today the vehicle was black with brown leather. The car was registered with the license plate PRY 675. Three years later the car was further sold to Kriril Mischeff in London. The next owner sold it to America in 1971. In 2009 the Bentley was sold to Dortmund, Germany. A short time later, the current owner took it over and had it frame-off restored in the Netherlands.
The Bentley S1 is the long awaited successor to the Bentley MK VI and R-Type. The high-torque, robust and reliable six-cylinder engine was adopted, but it was paired with an automatic transmission as standard. With revised brakes, suspension and power steering, luxury driving was redefined. Because of the solid engineering, the early models are especially popular today. A truly impressive vehicle.
