Description
1956 Bentley S1 sport saloon................. originally Masons black , however after several years in the U. S of A it got painted Cadillac Candy White. The finish is quite deceiving as depending on the light etc., it can look silver, or light green........... The car came back to the UK in 2018 and is now registered with its original UK number, which ironically is a Lincolnshire issue. Various invoices and a build sheet file are with the car
Over the last 5 years of my ownership I have reconditioned the cylinder head with new valves & guides, a complete brake overhaul which includes replacement of both master cylinders, all 6 wheel cylinders, refurbed reservoirs, new brake pipes, new flexi's, new brake linings and servo pipework.
The interior has been completely refurbished............. wood door caps and facia are without doubt exceptional, new west of England cloth headlining, new best quality carpets, and the seats have had a full makeover with new burgundy hide/ cream piping throughout added to which is an embossed Bentley wing logo in each seat position.
A bespoke stainless steel exhaust system was fabricated and fitted with new mountings etc. leaving it with the sweetest of exhaust notes.
The asking price bears no relationship to the refurb cost thus far and I am inviting sensible conversation from serious buyers, please call for a full and frank discussion on what needs doing.................. serious buyers pick up the phone, texts ignored and rightly so. Near offers are worth talking about !
Delivery at cost anywhere and assistance provided with export.
