MUST SELL - BIG PRICE DROP
Based on a 1937 Austin Ruby 'Reet Petit' is one of the last Hamblin castes left
She has been completely restored and modified during 2016.
Restoration was carried out by a gentleman who was a illustrator and illustrated the poster of the Lamborghini Countach for Athena. As you can imagine the detail on this car is fantastic. A hardback book detailing the complete rebuild in pictures has been produced to go with the car.
In 2016 she won 'Best in Show' out of 270 cars displayed at Allington and she was also selected by the Committee at Haynes Motor Museum for exhibition in the Rare Breeds 100 show in same year. She is on the Hamblin Cadet Register which has only 26 cars listed.
In 2022, the Austin 7 Centenary, she participated in the British Grand Prix Driver Parade, taking Pierre Gasly around Silverstone watched by millions around the world. Pierre signed the boot of the car!
This car is both beautiful and unique.
There is far too much to list here but she now has twin electric cooling fans, electric water pump, new header tank, overhauled engine, new flywheel ring, additional
instrumentation etc. Please see pictures for details.
Converted to run on 12V
