Description
A rare offering here in the UK is this beautiful spotless, flawless 350 Desmo
The bike is furnished with brand new battery, Avon RoadRider tyres, Hagon shocks, a 12V conversion, Lucas Rita electronic ign for reliable, easy starting plus a Conti replica "silencer". It needs nothing.
It has been completely restored with fresh paint, chrome, stainless spokes etc, and has a mildly ported head with the oft-seen upgrade of a modern PHF30 pumper carb. I have a standard square-slide VHB DellOrto somewhere if originality is crucial but it starts, runs and breathes extremely well with this set-up
It has Manx GP history in a former life, having been raced in the Junior for two consecutive years, 1983 and 84,

before being completely overhauled by its Ducati-obsessive previous owner
My camera has struggled to capture the classic bevel orangey-yellow paint-job. It is NOT as sun-bleached lemon-yellow as it appears in many of these photos. Have a look at the tank jpeg for an idea of the true colour, and even that isn't a perfect reproduction
Currently SORNed but has a full UK V5C
EOI at £11500 o. n. o. I bought this to replace an earlier 350 Desmo "I should never have sold" to fund a house-renovation, but now, this is an extremely reluctant sale due to declining mobility/ impending surgery.
I often sit in my garage just looking at this glorious thing, but it deserves an owner who will not only cherish it, but ride it as well. These slim lithe bikes put my Morinis' renowned handling to shame and are a crowd-stopper and jaw-dropper at summer bike-meets...
