Description
A very lovely example of a 1970 Pearl White Beetle.
Has MOT and is Tax exempt.
Have paper work of restoration work dating back to 1990s including photos of work.
I have had a fully reconditioned 1200cc engine and gear box fitted and carried out work on brakes and electrics. Just replaced the battery (first time since I have owned the car). The car starts first time and is an excellent runner.
Exterior:
In very good condition and has always been a head turner. Body and paint work (pearl white) was previously restored to a high standard. It has towel rail chrome bumpers but there is some rust on the inside of the bumpers. Also has chrome hub caps (I have the accessory to remove the caps). These are only minor cosmetic imperfections for a car that is now over 50yrs old!
Interior:
The interior is a real eye catcher, it is in very good condition with red vinyl interior and red carpets. The headliner is also in excellent condition. Front only seatbelts. I had (for the time) a new radio installed with USB port. Has original steering wheel with Wolfsburg badge. Rear window demister in working order.
Accessory: There is a small storage basket/ rack that fits over the central channel- next to the gear stick, so you can store items such as a water bottle.
Under the bonnet you will find it lined with black carpet with spare wheel and original tools in leather pouch.
The car has been garaged since the day I have owned it and it also has a storm cover to maintain its very lovely condition.
I also have some spare parts. This is a dearly loved and cherished car, which has been enjoyed for the last 10 years.
