Description
The Fiat 128 Rally, unveiled at the 41st Geneva Motor Show in March 1971, was a spirited rendition of the 128 two-door saloon, boasting a 1. 3-liter engine that set pulses racing until its production ceased in 1974.
Diverging from the standard 128's 1, 116 cc four-cylinder engine, the Rally edition's powerplant, the type 128 AR, underwent a 6 mm expansion to 86 mm bore diameter, maintaining the 55. 5 mm stroke, resulting in a robust displacement of 1, 290 cc.
The car on offer is a rare original 128AR Rally meticulously prepared for Historic Rallies, featuring a full roll cage, bucket seats, 4-point seat belts, enhanced suspension, additional high intensity headlamps and lighter wider wheels. It stands in impeccable condition, having been expertly maintained and requiring no additional work.
